by:Anthony J Trimboli- Queens, New York- This is written as an advisory to motorists out there in New York City, especially in the borough of Queens, New York. Please be careful of intersections when you drive around Queens, New York.
The NYC DOT cameras can give you a ticket that is very high, but so can currently, cameras that are put up by the NYPD. You see in areas like Long Island City right over the 59th Street Bridge, you see that there is a camera that is watching over one of the busy intersections on Queens Blvd shortly off of Queens Plaza North.
The excess of cameras out there may still be there to deter speeding currently, but there are lots of cameras out there, so if you live in Queens, New York, please watch the intersections since there are also NYPD Cameras in them right now. the NYPD cameras are small and white and look like surveillance cameras that have a bubble at the bottom of them. They also have the NYPD logo on them also. The NYC DOT cameras are like large boxes that are up there that are there to watch the intersections. One for NYC DOT also looks like a large camera flash bulb too.
Again, to avoid any tickets around New York City, especially Queens, New York it seems please watch the cameras and the large excess of them in intersections. You now have NYPD cameras in intersections like the one in Long Island City one block down of Queens Blvd from Queens Plz North, for example.
Please. Do not get too many fines.
