by:Anthony J Trimboli- Queens, New York- There is light and hope for many Queens, New York residents who have had a tough time trying to reach their borough commissioner in Queens. As you know with New York City Dept of Transportation, there is a borough commissioner out in Kew Gardens. The headquarters are out at 40 Worth Street in Manhattan.

Now, the borough commissioners offices are now going to give out e-mail addresses to their offices personally. For Queens, the e-mail address is:

qbc@dot.nyc.gov

Here in Queens, it is QBC and then the dot thing afterwards. It creates a direct connection to the borough commissioners' office here in Queens located in Queens County. It also can be used in place of a letter to report problems involving signs and perhaps request removal of lights and signs without having to go through the added effort, per se, of writing a letter.

I hope the residents of Queens, New York will enjoy that the borough commissioner's office of Queens now has its own e-mail address being qbc@dot.nyc.gov
