One of the nicest parks in the entire city, I believe, is Flushing Meadows Corona Park over in Corona, New York off the Long Island Expressway. Firstly, it has so much green inside of it, that it really makes the park seem nice almost the minute you walk in. You have such nice trees and such nice grass and such nice other things inside of the park. Besides that, the park has many other nice things inside of it like a baseball field and a restaurant inside of it and even a museum next to it concerning science called The Hall of Science. The park is also fairly quiet on weekdays and even on weekends, where some parks like Central Park or Prospect Park are a madhouse during the day, this park remains relatively quiet and you have good walking space inside of the park. Some parks in New York City and even parts of Long Island are too crowded during the day, but this park gives you nice space and nice recreational areas, etc. It is such a nice area to visit over there in Queens, New York off the Long Island Expressway in Corona, New York by the 7 Train.
