by:Anthony J Trimboli- Sunnyside, New York- It was a shocker to the eye a whole lot today at 46 Street Station in Sunnyside, New York today. Many people at New York City Transit had me believe that all of their stations and trains were in disarray when I was riding on the A and C Lines and its stations and trains were in bad shape over here.
Today, at 46 St Sta on the R and V Line, you should have seen the amount of water that was on the floor that came from a leaky or rusted water pipe above. As the R Train passed by the station today, all I saw were two puddles of water on the ground at two different parts of the station. Wow. It came like a shocker to the eye.
I guess others in New York CIty Transit tend to believe ALL of their stations are falling apart, because the man at Slattery Plz really had no comment even though the lines of R and V and F and E have almost ninety percent better stations than those on the A and C Trains in terms of maintenance and the trains are included. New York City Transit had me believing that ALL of their stations had been this way. I still do not believe the same way after seeing all the leaking today on the R and V Station 46 Street today and still they had no real comment. Honestly, if New York City Transit is in agreement that all of their stations are in bad shape, I surely and for certain think they should rethink that and not only because of the R and V Stations.
I mean, I passed through the station 46 St Sta today in Sunnyside, New York and all I saw were two large puddles of water on the station that were below the pipes and ventilation ducts. Since NYCT Service Delivery and New York City Transit itself is very busy at this time, I just decided to notify the clerk.
It was a shocker to the eye how 46 St Sta today on the R and V Lines was full of water in two places below the pipes and sewers above the station. I suspect it may have been a leaky pipe or something. It was a shocker for this line, however.
