by:Anthony J Trimboli- Douglaston-Little Neck, New York- One very nice park I want to write to you about with nice scenery almost as nice as the scenery you would get on the North Shore of Long Island would have to be a NYC Park at the very north of the neighborhood of Douglston-Little Neck, New York.
Once you visit the park, called a cove in the northern section of Douglaston_Little Neck, New York, you would never really think it is a section of New York City. It is right there on the Long Island border and does not really look like a NYC Park.
It has very nice views of the Bronx entering into Westchester County, New York across the water, which is still called Astoria Bay and not Long Island Sound as of yet.
Once you see areas like this, you would never think a small park like this in Douglaston, New York would be like a park that you would see in New York City.
I still can not believe how this is a New York City park up there in Douglaston-Little Neck, New York. It resembles too much of the parks and land you see out in the North Shore of Long Island which has views rather of Connecticut and Westchester.
The road that leads to this park is Little Neck Parkway which begins by the Long Island Expressway, it is a nice little area away from a moderate hussle bussle on the boulevard there and you can just sit in the car and look at the bay.
