QUEENS,NY- FOR A GREAT PLACE TO TRAVEL, TRY AFTER THIS WAY

by:Anthony J Trimboli- Queens, NY- I am sure many people have heard of Exit 72 on the LIE as being Riverhead as the last place to go to on the parkway going East. Well, do you know that you can travel further on the LIE Eastbound after it ends. Old COuntry Road which is a road that begins in Middle Nassau has a road which extends all the way to the Atlantic Ocean where you can see many shops and many vineries out there on Old Country Road as it passes through areas like Jamestown, Albequoque and eventually Orient Point.

YOu will like the nice selection of shops on Old Country Road in the back there and the nice places to visit. It is like another New England actually rather than Long Island, which is sort of too commercial an area.

On Old COuntry Road, you will see so man shops there that you will really like all of them because they have high quality meat and grapes and other things like that. This again is after Riverhead on Exit 72 of the Long Island Expressway which begins by the Queens-Midtown Tunnel out there near the Queens-Manhattan border.

Again, Long Island can be too commercialized, if you want a spot which is a nice place to relax and purchase some wine or some nice meats or even view some nice nature preserves on Old COuntry Road before the Atlantic Ocean and the end, try these three small towns(Jamesport, Albeqoque and Orient Point) after Exit 72 on the Long Island Expressway.

I am sure most people who live in Queens, NY know that the Long Island Expressway is the road that travels East and begins near the Queens-Manhattan border there.

Try this area. You will not believe it is Long Island.
