QUEENSBOROUGH BRIDGE- WHY MUST NYC WASTE MONEY THIS WAY??

by:Anthony J Trimboli- Long Island City, New York- On the Queensborough Bridge, the City of New York is really wasting money on street lamps that remain on the entire day. There may be construction going on on the bridge however.

You enter on to the bridge from Manhattan on foot or in your car or in the bus that goes over it and all you see are lights that are malfunctioning and are on the entire day. As you travel from Manhattan to the other side, you see TRILLIONS of lamps on both sides of the bridge on all day long. Wasting electricity.

Perhaps construction may be at fault for this thing with the lamps being on the entire day on the Queensborough Bridge throughout the entire day. You see street lamps and even lamps under the bridge on the entire day.

People in New York City especially Con Edison and New York City DEP do not like waste and when things are wasted. It is still not understood to me why the lamps on the Queensborough Bridge on the ceiling of the bridge and on the sides of the bridge are on the entire day. Possibly construction.
