by:Anthony J Trimboli- EDITORIAL- Traffic can be horrendous here in Queens, New York on almost ALL major parkways in Queens and other five boroughs around New York City. From like 5 AM-10 AM and 3 PM-8PM, expect the roads to be just as crowded as the subways around New York City.
This hideous overcrowding of the roads really can hinder you from going one direction to another being home. The best choice is the subway or train to get you home since it constantly moves. The parkways are hideously congested around here for like almost four hours each day.
One suggestion to you is if you take the road, try some of the boulevards around the area in Queens like Northern Blvd, Queens Blvd, Jamaica Avenue and they will be quicker ways for you to get home. Take boulevards and perhaps avenues. Traffic congestion is like for three to four hours on the parkways and expressways here in Queens and all five boroughs of New York City.
I hope this suggestion was helpful to you. The traffic seems to be still at the same rate for over fifteen to twenty years here in New York City in all five boroughs.
